i just got back from a meeting about this by caitlyn boyle. it was absolutely amazing, and i am SO taking part of this. ive een battling depression for about a few months and have always had a problem with body image. this has put thsi in such a new light for me and i would like to thank you for all hope you have given young people as well as adult everywhere. STAY BEAUTIFUL!

Hello :)I would like to point out that Operation Beautiful is one strong and amazing movement. I will be going around my school putting positive sticky notes on every, single locker at school. It has been approved by my Vice Principal and its going to happen! Thank you so much for your encouragement :)

me and my boyfriend were sticking notes everywhere and my boyfriend was like "darn im so silly i wanted to put a note on a pigeon so the other pigeons could read it xD" hes so adorable :3 x

sort of, caitlin gave me permission to run this blog under a few conditions. i havent been very active running this blog because i run another one

first, you are all amazing! start from recovering and to running this blog, you are so good :) i admire you for this
second, i want to know if i can write on the notes in hebrew, so that people will understand, and then translate it when i submit the pics?

please don't think this is in anyway attacking what you guys are doing, because this blog is beautiful and I respect all three of you for coming out and doing this, especially telling your stories in the "about" sections. however, on one of the sticky notes in the background, it says "MEN don't pick themselves apart" I just want to point out that men have the Ken Doll to live up to as well. Many guys are out there every day, pumping iron and killing themselves to get the perfect "mcdreamy" body. While starving and purging may not be as popular with men, they have the same standards that are near impossible to meet. As operation beautiful goes, boys deserve to feel handsome and "beautiful" the same way girls do.

This isn't meant to attack, at all, as I said, I respect and appreciate this blog. I suffer from an ED and I think what you are doing is beautiful in itself. I just want to be sure that we include both sexes in the drive towards perfection<3

agreed, thank you for pointing this out. one of my best guy friends has an ED as well. so although its not as heard of, many men do struggle with poor body image.

1 in 6 people diagnosed with anorexia are male, im not sure about the other stastics, but i think its important to keep this in mind.
